About

The Kelson Community Centre was built in the early 1980s after a large section was gifted to the community by a local family. Run by a dedicated group of volunteers (the Kelson Community Association committee) in conjunction with a part-time coordinator and cleaner, the centre now plays host to public meetings, fairs, quiz and bingo evenings, children’s birthday parties, fundraisers, corporate functions, engagement parties, church groups, theatre groups, a regular playgroup and much more.

The committee meets at the Community Centre every third Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm. Newcomers to these meetings are always warmly welcomed – there is no obligation to join the committee, and you can do as much or as little as you like.
